Toronto +3.00 over MINNESOTA (6:00 PM)<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
The line for this game is not out yet and we’ll update it when it does come out. We do know that the Raps will be getting about 3-1 on the money line and roughly 7½ points. We’ll take the Raps outright because we really like their chances tonight. Something is very wrong with this edition of the T-Wolves and don’t think for a second that they have right-sided themselves after winning their past two games. The win over Portland on Saturday night does not tell the real story at all. Portland was playing its fourth road game in five nights and was minus Zach Randolph, Sharif Abdul Rahim and Darius Miles. Minnesota had a two-point lead with 2:37 to go. To further evidence just how much this teams mind is somewhere else, not one starter, that includes Garnett, Sprewell, Carter, Hassell, or John Thomas, got to the foul line until there was 50 seconds left in the game. The other win, prior to the Trail Blazers, was over a reeling Denver Squad that had just beaten the Lakers the previous night. Minnesota has not had a noteworthy win in more then five weeks and beating the Raptors won’t qualify either. However, at least the Raps are going to come in here and play their hearts out. Chris Bosh will welcome the opportunity to go against Kevin Garnett and he’ll be fired up big time for it. Lastly, Minnesota heads out on a three game trip after this one for games at the Lakers, Seattle and Portland. With that in mind, why would be believe they’ll show up here after not showing up for more them a month? Raptors a real live pooch tonight. Play: Toronto +3.00 (Risking 1.5 units).<o></o>

Chicago +1.75 over NY KNICKS (1:00 PM)<o></o>
Second game of a home and home series for these two as the Bulls won the first one in Chicago by just a bucket. The logical thinking is that the Knicks nearly won on the road and now they’re at home and should get it done. While that may come to pass, we’ll gladly take our chances that it won’t. The Bulls are on a major league roll having won six in a row to mark the franchise's longest winning streak since 1998. Overall, they've won 13 of 16 and are 7-1 in January. Chicago will play hard for 48 minutes and with the Knicks, you have no idea what you’re going to get. Knicks have lost six of seven and blew a nine-point fourth quarter lead in the game in Chicago. Playing hot versus cold is never a bad idea and with a tag like this attached, not playing it would be foolish. All we know for sure is that the Bulls not only have more talent then the Knicks, they come in here with a big psychological advantage as well. Play: Chicago +1.75 (Risking 1.5 units).<o></o>
