2/20 College Hoops

Had a fantastic week going (12-4 Mon-Wed) and then had an awful 0-5 night on Thursday. Next year, I will play less plays for sure. My weakness is narrowing down my games, but lessons take a little time to be learned.

Plays through the 2 PM games:

Villanova (+8)
Nova is very much on the bubble. The Hall is likely in b/c of wins over Pitt and Cuse.

North Carolina (-10)
Not only a revenge spot here, but I think UNC is poised to hit a late-season surge.

Rice (-3')
Not playing many "Bracket Buster" games, but this is a soft line. Rice has been great at home (10-2) and their only home losses were to UConn and Stanford.

Dayton (+6)
This game should be nip-and-tuck the whole way.

Connecticut (-15)
No Francis inside for the Irish means UConn dominates big-time on the inside.

Tennessee (+5)

Northern Iowa (+2')
A very small line for a team (UWGB) that is 10-2 at home this year.

Utah (-4)
Big revenge for the Utes. Air Force comes off a devastating loss to Texas-Pan American. I think AFA has had a nice run, but it ends here.

4 PM Games:

Alabama (+11')
Miss State finally is getting their respect and they finally get a game on the big network. That leads me to believe that there may be a letdown today. Bama is only 1-6 on the road and needs a quality road win.

Going against both undefeateds:

UCLA (+8')
Stanford got a scare on Thurs but turned it on in the 2nd half. I think they may be overconfident and believe they can do that every game.

Temple (+13)
Chaney will devise a game plan to frustrate the Hawks and eliminate a lot of transition buckets. Martelli has been the media darling this week. We all know what usually happens after the media jumps on the bandwagon.

Delaware (+8')

UNC Wilmington (+8')
UNCW is disciplined and well-coached. UIC, while very talented and athletic, has a tendency to get into their undisciplined, street-ball mentality.
