any more insight on cormier?

am i off in saying that this is maybe the most hyped fight in last 2 years?

i'm just a casual watcher and pretty pumped for that fight....

also, curious if the hate is genuine or if there is some marketing to it

Cormier by decision is the play isn't it?

If you like Cormier then you are mostly banking on him overpowering Jones for TDs but I'm not sure how he finishes him. I mean he couldn't even finish Dan Henderson.

The line is DC +150 or so. Goes to show you have far JJ odds have fallen when he fights someone who fought as a HW, which weight JJ should be fighting at to begin with. Jones walks around 220+ and there is a huge reason why White wont let him fight HW, he would lose to each and every one of the top 5 HW's out there.

Hopefully DC throws him like a doll. DC has thrown 250+ lb guys around like nothing. Jones lacks strength, power, speed. He has length, height and size. Easy to fight guys much smaller than you all the time. He fought Gus, got pounded. First guy his true size.

Cormier did his job, he is sooo deep in JJ's head. Jones has Everything to lose and Daniel has nothing to lose. Jones Already lost proving to the world he cant keep his mouth shut. Will not be surprised with a Cormier TKO

You really think he stops him though?

He hasn't really finished anyone. He really doesn't seem to do much damage after TDs. I think with Jones length/BJJ game that he can probably weather the storm on the ground.

Why I like Cormier decision if going him but could be wrong.

I think this fight has the makings of Silva / Weidman 1, I can see Cormier landing a monster shot with Jones guard down

I was posting this sort of statement in my write up tomorrow. Only key difference here is I'm not as certain Cormier wins and KOs at that like I was with Weidman. I was telling that story for years before it happen. Hopefully I get one to tell after Saturday night...

I love your DC play. Don't like Miles pick, think that Cowboy has waited a long time for this shot and won't waste it. Best of luck

Matt DraftKings is unveiling MMA tomorrow. I really don't follow the undercard fighters much but was wondering if you got any insight? Was gonna play some of the tournaments.

Seems like the main thing is obviously winning the fight and the earlier the better. Have no clue how this is legal and betting the fight isn't but whatever...

Pats, The Draft Kings sounds tempting...damn you

As for insight, like fade said as well, pick the guys who should win, and he gets pounded. lol At this level, they all have a punchers chance, usually...haha

Yeah I think it is pretty cool, another way to bet the fights.

I don't love the scoring format though. It puts too much into who wins the fight so your basically just trying to hit a 5 team parlay almost.

Just doing some research on the DraftKings I think I'm gonna try to get Shawn Jordan in a lot of lineups. Looks like he has a lot of potential for 1st rd KO

Lombard is obviously a huge fav and likely to dominate. Gonna get Cormier in.

Out of all these +150-200 range dogs on the card anyone you guys like a lot?

Cody Garbrandt +160 is my favorite in that range, besides Cormier. He is ready to fight, and Brimage thinks he's gonna walk straight through him. He may win, but think Cody puts up a serious fight with a chance to grind out a W, if not end her early. Brimage also went home to train for this fight, instead of staying at ATT. Maybe not the best idea, and it hits close to home as my buddy did the same and lost for the first time in his career...
