4-2 last night.
Tonight:
West Virginia (-3')
Both teams put the ball in the hole very well. However, GW is allowing 52% FG on the road this year. They are also avg 21 TO's on the road and have a 1-1 Assist/TO Ratio.
WV is only allowing 38.7% from the floor and 37.4% at home (30.1 from 3). They also take care of the ball and avg only 9 TO's a game with an over 2-1 Assist/TO Ratio.
Wisconsin (-6')
The Badgers are 27-9 ATS at home the L3 years.
Bama struggled in their one true road game (Charlotte took them to 3 OT). Alabama State doesn't count b/c that was pretty much a home game for them.
I think the Badgers cam exploit the one Bama weakness, perimeter defense.
Bama is allowing 41.1% from 3 on the road this year.
Meanwhile, Wisconsin still plays excellent defense. They are only allowing 39.9% FG overall (28.4% from 3) and only allowing 38.7% at home (25.5 % from 3).
Bama hangs around, but the Badgers pull away late and win by 10.
Virginia Commonwealth (-3)
Ole Miss should probably be favored here since they have won 5 in a row including a DD win at Memphis.
Plus, VCU's leading scorer Nick George is OUT for this one.
All this against VCU and they are favored? Hmmmmm.
Boston College (-6)
Kent is on a roll as is undefeated BC. Just a feeling here, no real reason.
Birmingham Southern (-5)
Tennessee-Martin has wins over Reinhardt, Bethel (NAIA) and IPFW (3rd year in D1).
UT Martin gives up 49.2% FG on avg and opp shoot 39.3% from 3 on the road against them.
Birm So shoots 46.6% and 39% from 3.
UT Martin also gets outrebounded by 6 away from home.
Saint Louis (-5)
SLU has not covered a game all year(2-8 SU and 0-8 ATS). Tonight, Reggie Bryant, their leading scorer, may be out. Why would this team be favored over anyone? Exactly. The Billikens get off the schneid tonight.
Murray State (+10)
St. Mary's is still a little overvalued from their early-season success. Murray has been a road dog twice this year and covered both times (@ Mizzou and @ Southern Illinois).
SMC is only 1-1 as a Home Fav this year (no cover vs. Delaware and covered vs. horrible Sacramento State).
I see a close one here.
