I @rwjr am calling for the IMMEDIATE dismissal of BAS / @Betallsports
this theft by BAS cannot & should not be whitewashed by BAS & or the RX forum .

It's definitely a bad look that BAS remains a mod and whoever runs this place knows it is.

Maybe BAS has a piece of this forum. He has been here for years and seemed to spend a lot of time in Costa Rica.

That's not a rumor, it was and still is widely known.
Yeah, I know. Probably labeled that wrong.

I just don't have any first hand knowledge myself, that's why I didn't label him booking posters as fact.

Are you the RX tip czar? It seems that you really want to be. You have decided to self-elect authority here to assign a 10% tip as appropriate? It sucks that Defying is owed money from BAS, but I'm completely uninvolved with what BAS owes him. I don't know why Defying offered to pay BAS' debt. Maybe they made some type of arrangement that BAS obviously hasn't delivered. It seems like the little brother (Defying) was burned by the big brother (BAS).
No I'm not the Rx Tip Czar, I'm just calling out a cheap bastard is all.

You won $5,000 and tipped zero. If it wasn't for that contest, you wouldn't have won anything. Did someone do work to provide weekly contest info, did someone update the weekly standings?

They did work in order for you to be in the contest.

That's called a service.

Do you not tip at restaurants as well? Don't tip the barber? Don't tip the bartender?

You're reply comes off like your lack of tip, forget there's an issue at all, that's not even part of the equation here.

You won $5,000 and tipped $0 It's not like you won $5.

Was there a 10% rake for that contest ? If yes , why would you be tipping ? 10% rake would cover plenty of the time and effort put in.

I was just getting ready to type the same. Also some want BAS to step down get fired whatever all that would do is let him go underground never to be heard from again which I am surprised he did not do from get go. Maybe BAS deserves some props for that and really wants to make this right and retain his job and hopefully some day his status.

So Every entry of $200, $10 will be taken out and placed in a pot to pay for JOH's services.
This way he gets paid for his work, he helps us out for a great contest and there is No pressure on Tipping at the end.
* of course if you wish to throw a few extra bucks his way, that's Totally up to you.

The contest involved 10 or 20 players. The grading was computerized. I don't feel any tip was necessary for such a contest. We're going to disagree about this and I don't care further what you have to say about it.

I read it. The contest involved only 10 players and it was winner-take-all format.

After some conflicting stories from BAS after the season ended, it didn't appear BAS was going to pay contest winners.

I've been around long enough to know, when somebody who owes, gives a story with a time frame, and then has another excuse with yet another time frame, the odds of being paid rapidly approach zero.

When a person with a good track record like BAS, who at that time, was the head moderator here, the zero odds could involve a longer time frame.

Unfortunately, it appears BAS remains in financial trouble and it's strange that he's able to remain part of this site. He might own a piece of it.

Who knows.
