Our selection is on the Cincinnati Bearcats Plus 14

Well its 3 AM and 14 is finally here and it was something we have waited for. That was our number to bet Cinci. Just like yesterday when we bet South Carolina and had 10 points our number was 8 ½. However, you saw that number sore to 13 by gametime. Well you might even get 15 by gametime here but we have our number and we live with that. If anything new clients that bought our CFB Bowl package can learn is like in any aspects of life the saying is stick to your guns. That works for gambling once you have a system. Anyways I digress. Total contrarian play here for us as everyone on Alabama and we had this number at 10 ½. If it wasn’t such a big game, we might have made it a larger play. However, that little poke in the back of the head says what if Alabama does what they did to Georgia. If that happens we lose our bet. Saban is of course a genius and very hard to bet against him with time to prepare, but for us its 14 points and the back door will be WIDE OPEN. Recency bias has everyone seeing Alabama crush Georgia but I remember that Alabama was a 6 ½ point dog in that game. Alabama this year, besides that last game, tends to play down to their competition. Prime examples of Auburn/Florida/Arkansas and LSU all played them tough and Cincinnati would be favored over every one of them. Is this a tough task for the Bearcats to win? Yes, for sure but with everyone on Alabama and a Cincinnati team to a man that has heard forever that they should not be here, puts us on the HUGE UNDERDOG.

So lets get the job done with the Cincinnati Bearcats.

Our Selection is on the Michigan Wolverines plus 7 ½

This line has stayed solid on 7 ½ and we were hoping to see a bunch of Georgia money come in but now we are a touch worried this goes down by gametime. Of course we all know trying to get the right number is of the utmost importance. Our 5% winner on Wisconsin last night is all the proof you need. This game to us seems like it is definitely one possession but we would not be shocked to see Michigan win. The SEC has not been the conference that they were in the past. They are having a rough Bowl Year and sometimes we get the eye test wrong on these clubs. That is what we have here. Georgia has a great Defense ranked 2nd in the country. However, Michigan is no slouch at 12th. We can all agree this game comes down to who makes the plays on offense but there are two other tangibles that we like on the Michigan side of things. HC Harbaugh has had a month to prepare for this one (27 days to be exact) and his club has a ton of momentum from beating Ohio ST and Iowa. Total opposite for Georgia who had their ass handed to them by Alabama and for us just can’t trust Kirby Smart in a big game. Facts are facts. One more thing Dan Lanning the DC became Oregon's HC and even though he is assisting that’s is just not a good thing to us. Oh ya we are getting 7 ½ points in a game that we had Georgia 4.

So lets get the job done with the Michigan Wolverines.

ROOT Cincinnati vs Alabama Gold Standard Play

CFB HANDICAPPERS DELIGHT MONEY MOVE OF MONTH

Handicapper: Wayne Root

League: NCAAF

Competition: Cincinnati vs Alabama

Time: Friday, December 31, 03:30 pm ET

Bet Type: Point Spread

Pick: Cincinnati +14 (-115) (DraftKings)

Rotation #: 273

Analysis:

Gold Standard—-Cincinnati The Cincinnati Bearcats come into the CFP as the only undefeated team at 13-0 but as the biggest underdog of the four teams. Let’s definitely take advantage of that. The Bearcats are not lacking for star power on either side of the ball, however. They have a number of NFL talent looking to move there. Quarterback Desmond Ridder comes into the game with 3,190 yards passing and 30 touchdowns with just 8 interceptions. Ridder has also rushed the ball for 371 yards and six touchdowns. The most impressive number for Ridder may be his career record as Cincinnati's starting QB: 44-5. Ridder is not alone in the stellar Bearcat offense. Running back Jerome Ford, a transfer from Alabama, rushed for 1,242 yards and 19 touchdowns. Alec Pierce is the top Cincinnati WR with 50 catches and 8 touchdowns. Expect Cincinnati to utilize Ford against the Crimson Tide defense as the Bearcats try to establish the run in support of Ridder. Now for the big question. Which Alabama team will show up? If it’s the same team that played Texas A&M, Florida, LSU, Arkansas or Auburn, Crimson could lose outright. The Bearcats have two NFL cornerbacks. And Bama is down a huge wide receiver. Bama QB Bryce Young leads an offense that averaged 42.5 points per game. Young passed for 4,322 yards with 43 TDs and just four interceptions. He had two 1,000 yard receivers this year but will be without one of them, John Metchie III, for this game. Metchie's season ending knee injury puts additional pressure on fellow 1,000 yard receiver Jameson Williams. Alabama's primary RB Brian Robinson Jr. will look for room against a Cincinnati defense that allowed just 3.3 yards per carry. The Crimson Tide are not as run heavy as they have been in years past but may look to utilize Robinson in order to give Young more time in the pocket. Two more keys for the Bearcats. Cincinnati has been effective running the football at over 5 yards per carry and Cincinnati has done an outstanding job this year at forcing turnovers, with 33 forced on the season. Cincinnati has had an outstanding season and deserves a shot in the CFP with a 13-0 record. As for today well take the +13.5 points.

Root Pinnacle Georgia vs Michigan

CFB PRIMETIME TV (27-13; 68%). Georgia vs...

Handicapper: Wayne Root

League: NCAAF

Competition: Georgia vs Michigan

Time: Friday, December 31, 07:30 pm ET

Bet Type: Point Spread

Pick: Georgia -8 (-107) (BetRivers)

Rotation #: 269

Analysis:

Pinnacle———Georgia The Georgia Bulldogs and Michigan Wolverines will be trying to advance to the College Football Playoff Finals when they meet in the Capital One Orange Bowl on Friday night. The Bulldogs finished the season with a 12-1 record, but they lost to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game. The Wolverines finished with a 12-1 record and won the Big Ten title. Georgia is averaging 38 points per game. They are throwing for 247.9 yards and rushing for 194.6 yards per game. Their strongest part of the team and success is their defense. Georgia is one of the best defensive teams in the league, giving up 9.8 points per game. The Bulldogs are averaging 38 points per game and 35.7 points per game on the road. They like to keep the ball on the ground. Michigan also likes to run the ball, which will chew up the clock against a defense that is second in the country against the run. Against the Bulldogs, running against them is like trying to move a cement wall. Michigan Coach Jim Harbaugh had his biggest goal of his life met when he defeated Ohio St 42-27. That game was bigger to his program than this game. Look for Michigan to find that the offense can’t move the ball the first half and Harbaugh’s halftime adjustments may be too late as Georgia is set to give 60 minutes of he’ll after losing to Alabama and wanting that rematch.

Root (Tomorrow's Pinnacle) Oklahoma St. vs Notre Dame

CFB BOWL GAME OF YEAR; (MAXX BET PINNACLE)

Handicapper: Wayne Root

League: NCAAF

Competition: Oklahoma State vs Notre Dame

Time: Saturday, January 1, 01:00 pm ET

Bet Type: Point Spread

Pick: Oklahoma State +2.5 (-115) (DraftKings)

Rotation #: 277

Analysis:

Pinnacle——Oklahoma State Bowl Game of the Year The teams are very evenly matched and should make for a great Fiesta Bowl to watch. Points will be premium because both teams have highly ranked stingy defenses. Oklahoma State ranks 7th overall and Notre Dame 9th. Both teams make a great deal of third-down stops and end drives early. Notre Dame allows a 32.7 conversion rate, and Oklahoma State only allows them 25.7 percent of the time. The Cowboys averaged 30 points per game and the Irish 35. With the teams being so close in so many statistical categories, you have to look to other places to find an edge. And in this game, there are two that stand out. Notre Dame is starting freshman at right and left tackle. Yes, these are four, and five-star recruits, and they do have real game experience, but they will be up against one of the best defensive lines and pass-rushing attacks in the country, and I can see them struggling. Notre Dame will be without its star running back, and Oklahoma State has a great run defense. ND captains are both memories, albeit with likely lasting legacies. On Friday, Notre Dame's leading rusher and All-America safety announced they were opting out of fifth-ranked ND's January 1Fiesta Bowl matchup with No. 9 Oklahoma State. This is a huge blow to the Irish. The other is the experience in Bowl Games. This is Notre Dame Head Coach Marcus Freeman's first game as a college-level head coach, and it is in a significant bowl. I don't care how good you are. There are going to be some nerves in play. Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy has a great deal of experience in getting teams ready for bowl games and winning them. He has coached in 15 straight bowl games going back to 2006 and has won most of them. The Cowboys are 5-0 ATS in their last five bowl games. Experience matters here, and although I expect a great effort from Notre Dame, The Cowboys get the upset in the Fiesta Bowl.
