At first I thought it was odd. then I realized today is the 80th anniversary

We were a united people, we were infinitely more honorable, we showed the world and ourselves what can be accomplished when we have a common goal.

There was no wokeness, radicals were called radicals. It wasn't perfect by any standards, but at least they were moving forward.

God Bless the Greatest Generation

the famous quote

"December 7th, Nineteen Forty One ... a day that will live until my fellow Marxist journalists decide to stop talking about it"

Thank God for that generation of Americans. Otherwise we would be speaking German.

More likely Russian. The Germans switched to wartime production way to late to win any war with Russia and the UK. The T-34's were just too good (practical). The "repair kit" was barely larger than your average laptop carry case! You needed Einstein to repair a German tank. 55,000 T-34's ready to roll to Cabo Da Roca in 45. Thank God for the USA! Now if guys like Speer and Guderian were running the show instead of buffoons like Hitler, Goring and yes-man Keitel, things would have been dramatically different, but that's a whole other topic. God bless those brave souls that served, and may God continue to bless the United States of America!

So this class gets 3 Japanese foreign exchange students to join the 20 American kids(AK) and the teacher is given them quotes as todays's Lesson

Teacher: Who said "I have a dream"......none of the AK raise hands so a little Japanes girl does , "Go ahead Miko".....That was Martin Luther King, Aug 28 1963......"Good Job Miko"

Teacher: Who said "Ask not what your country can do for you , but what you can do for your country", again no AK raise hand so teach calls on Soto-"That was JFK Jan 20, 1961"

Teacher:Who said "Give me Liberty of Give me Death".....only Saito raise hand and says "Patrick Henry Mar 23, 1775"

Teacher: You Amercian student could learn from our Japanese exchange students, they know more about US history than you all do.

From the back of the room a voice is heard" Fuck the Japanese"
Teacher looks around and asks -"Who said that?"
other American Voice " FDR Dec 7, 1941"

Can you imagine living in an era where it was so hard to receive news about any event. Just radio and newspapers which were mostly in the dark because Hawaii at that time was the equivalent of being at the ends of the earth. I'm not even sure how phones worked then. Did you have to pick up the phone and ask an operator to dial a number.

Do our kids even get taught bravery, courage, sacrifice, and honor anymore?

The Greatest Generation represented the peak of the United States.

God bless them.
