If you're favored and are considered the better team that kick that XP and go to OT.

Wow, am I the only one who thinks that was a great call? I mean Andrews was wide open, Lamar should've put more air on the ball. If he caught that, news will be Harbaugh was a genius. I'm sure they practiced that hundreds of times. He wouldn't go for 2 if they're not confident.

If you think that was a bad call or you put that on Harbaugh you know nothing about football. literally zero. It took balls. it was a great play call. It was just executed very poorly by Lamar. Andrews was wide open . I’m not sure what more you wanted Harbaugh to do. Are a lot of morons out there that think that every play that doesn’t work out was a bad call . that’s not true at all. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out. It’s like gambling, sometimes you have the right side and you just lose

But why not live to fight another day. Tie the game. You might get the kickoff. And if you don't make Pitt come down the field again against your D. Momentum was on your side at this point for coming all the way down the field in a minute and scoring.

Its an awful call, unless you got a bet on pitt money line, which maybe harbaugh did. You kick that extra point and go to ot. If 2 point play was so damn easy then coaches would be doing it on every td scored but they dont. Dont defend this coach for an very dumb play call

Balt is the better team so I believe they should of tied it up and went to OT. Its not like Pitt has a great offense. Look at what Balt did on the last drive when they needed to score and aren't playing at a snails pace. They walked the field on a bad defense....IMO Balt was kind of messing around all game because they didn't think Pitt could do anything......as soon as they get behind they start playing and they score easily.

The 2 pt. play call was spot on and they should of won but again.......you are the better team so IMO you kick the XP and go to OT.

The rule tends to be get it over on the road and go for it
Either way game was close and Pitt deserved to cover

Add Vic Fangio to this list. 3rd and 2 inside KC’s 10 yard line and you been running it all drive!! Why not run it twice if you are going for it on 4th down? Why pass it on 3rd down? Why not try to run it twice and get 2 yards and deflate KC??? Instead they wasted an 11 minute 88 yard drive and got no points??? That’s stupid Fangio!!

To quote Herm Edwards, “You play to win the game.”

Not play to tie and hope you’re lucky enough to even touch the ball with a flawed OT system that starts with a coin toss that heavily favors the team that wins the coin toss .

Andrews catches the ball and you’re all talking about what a great call it was . The call being good or bad isn’t necessarily based on the outcome .

You can see I'm not the only one with my opinion. you cant be defibrillated back to life when you are already dead! Need some heartbeat to inject more life.... Yes play to win, but you have to stay in the game. The OT system is less flawed than before, in that if the other team gets a FG first, you still get a chance. Andrews catches the ball and I think, phew good thing that worked. Not that it was a great call!

thought it was a no brainer call, not even close really. I figured they were gonna go for 2 once they got inside the 20.

Balt is the better team in general but at that point they had lost their best defensive player, they're down so many DB's and Pitt had basically dominated the 2nd half.

You got dual threat Lamar in that spot, go win the game

Harbaugh probably best in-game management in the league, when their defender jumped offsides on 2nd and 2 before the Pitt TD, I think that was intentional because then Pitt only had 3 downs and you would guarantee yourself plenty of time if they did indeed score. Pretty sharp.

Results don’t dictate whether or not a decision was poor.

AA pre flop, all the money goes in. The other guy hits his set on the flop. AA loses.

I suppose AA guy is an idiot since they got cracked.

Harbaugh had a play call that works if executed, Jackson missed.

All the reasons why he did it have been discussed. Nothing at all wrong with his decision.

I like the call by Harbaugh to go for it and get the win there while they had control of the outcome
it did not work but that was because of human error, which is a variable out of his control. If they performed to the level expected by Harbaugh before the play they would have won. Play call was good, execution not so much.

It goes to o.t. they are not in control of their outcome, they are going to depend on luck to win a coin toss, to start.

I think any "good" winning head coach wants to have control of the outcome and let his team decide the game, which is what Harbaugh did here
