DVAXN Group 25 NFL Football Outsiders Cleveland OH] With ~Bobby Lancer Exclusive Rating~ The Seahawks are eager to win and could pull off the upset and provide great odds in the process at home Underdogs. The problem is that the 49ers have been playing great on both sides of the ball recently and look to control the game as a result. The 49ers should find the end zone throughout the game with Jimmy Garoppolo finding open receivers down the field while Elijah Mitchell gashes the Seahawks defense on the ground. The 49ers won’t have Deebo Samuel on the field, but they still have another matchup nightmare with tight end George Kittle. Unlike the Seahawks, they can also run the football to take some of the pressure off quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Elijah Mitchell rushed the ball for 133 yards and one touchdown last week against the Minnesota Vikings. The Seahawks have depended solely on Russell Wilson to carry that franchise for far too long. The offensive line can’t protect him, and the running game is an absolute disaster. He led the team in rushing in last week’s loss to the Washington Football Team with only two carries and 16 yards. The 49ers should also limit the Seahawks offense with Nick Bosa disrupting the run and pass game in the trenches while Emmanuel Mosley, Josh Norman, and Jimmie Ward limit passing lanes in the secondary. The 49ers should win the game and cover the spread to continue their hot streak. 49ers -2 1/2 [buying hook]

DVAXN Group 25 NFL Football Outsiders Cleveland OH] With Sports Analyst Rob Vinciletti~ Pittsburgh’s defense has struggled stopping the run, but then again, the Ravens’ brand of physical football is compromised by the fact that they don’t have a legitimate No. 1 running back option, outside of Lamar Jackson. That unit is being held together by yesterday’s stars in Devonta Freeman and Latavius Murray. And Jackson the passer has been too shaky to trust. He’s either on target throwing the ball, or he’s throwing away multiple interceptions and riding the coattails of the defense. Everything points to a Ravens victory in this one, but I'm going the other way. I know the Steelers are down, and if they are without Watt, it's a huge blow. Still, there's something to be said about pride in a divisional rivalry and playing at home. It's been a weird couple of weeks for Baltimore, and I think it continues here as Pittsburgh pulls off the upset. Steelers +5/1/2 [Buying a Point]

DVAXN Group 25 NFL Football Outsiders Cleveland OH] With Jerry Nyles NFL Capper~ With While the Chiefs will be expected to come away with the win in this one, their knack for playing close games could certainly be a factor on Sunday night. The Denver defense is one of the best in the league and while the chiefs are electric again, they could be missing some key pieces. Regardless, the Denver defense is too strong to let this game get out of hand. On offense, having the experience of Bridgewater is key and their style of play surrounding controlling the clock, should bode well for this matchup and stay within nine points. Additionally, according to covers.com, the Chiefs are 1-5 ATS in their last six games following an ATS win and are 1-5 ATS in their last six games as a home favorite. In meetings between the two teams, the road team is also 6-1 ATS in their last seven meetings overall. 2 Team 7 Point Teaser Chiefs - 2 1/2 & Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Jets Under 52 points

Philadelphia Eagles (5-7 vs New York Jets (3-8) 2 Team 7 Point Teaser Under 52 Points & Pittsburgh +11 1/2

The Eagles are averaging 25.3 points per game while their defense is giving up 22.8 points per game. On the flip Side the Jets are averaging only 18.1 points while their defense is giving up 30.4 points per game. So call it 48.... No way this game will be over with the tease !!!!!

Update>> The forecast continues to change and right now it looks like the temperatures aren’t going to be much below freezing or at all, but the wind is the biggest problem at the moment. Winds look like they’ll be around 24 to 29 mph with gusts up to 49 mph. Temperatures will fall from a high of 54 degrees during the day to a low of 27 at night, so we’re looking at a front hitting and bringing wind and cold temperatures in the afternoon. It’s going to feel quite cold during the game, even if the official temps haven’t hit below freezing. Precipitation isn’t as likely as wind and cold, but there is a 40 percent chance, which would add to the difficulty for offenses. Both the Bills and Patriots know what cold weather is all about, but the Patriots are likely more prepared for bad weather than the Bills, who need to throw the ball to put up points.

Weather Channel forecasts just a 9 percent chance of rain or snow, with temperatures only dropping to the mid- or high-30s, but predicts steady and strong winds throughout the afternoon and evening -- regularly above 20 miles per hour. The high-wind warning, in effect until 7 p.m. Eastern, projects southwest winds between 25-35 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph. Widespread power outages are also anticipated as a result of the high winds.
This could obviously have implications on the Bills-Patriots matchup. Weather Works estimates that teams' passing efficiency decreases by approximately 0.5 yards per attempt facing winds 15-20 mph. Buffalo, in particular, has been fairly dependent on the passing game this year, with Josh Allen headlining their offensive attack. The Patriots, on the other hand, have also aired it out with rookie quarterback Mac Jones but have tended to lean more on their ground game and defense during their win streak.

Think about and compare how these teams lost their games this year, what was the key factors why they lost and how those loses could have been prevented. Then overlay that knowledge to their head to head matchup this week, Patriots may win by a field goal.
