A few thoughts. Houston will be unprepared against the Bearcats. Holgorsen teams have always lacked discipline nad he is an overrated Head Coach. I believe everybody expects the highest excellence from Bama every year (and most times they are not disappointed) but this is not the year. Excellence this year? Yes. Just not their best. Saban will have them ready but it won't be enough. I think the Bulldogs have been licking their chops all year for this moment. Will be interesting to see if there are "Phantom DPIs" that go against the favorite. Yes. those things happen. As for Michigan, I am inclined to think that they will start out slow (Buckeye Hangover) and have a very impressive 2nd Quarter. Will rest their starters the latter half of the 4th to stay healthy for the playoffs. Thinking Iowa may "Backdoor". Ferentz along with Fitz are still among the best coaches in the Big Ten and the country and their teams have no quit in their DNA. Unlike Oregon.
