Hopefully my Thurs posting trend breaks here as I’m a perfect 0-2 on posted Thurs plays. I used to do well on Thanksgiving, but in recent yrs I’ve had major turkey hangover.
1 Unit DAL -7 ½: DAL has nothing to be thankful about going 1-9 ATS on Thanksgiving day. They used to be money this time of yr & I feel they get back on the wagon. LT Tyron Smith finally returns helping to anchor a struggling oline. There’s a good chance CeeDee Lamb recovers in time from his concussion to play which is huge. Dak had an awful performance against KC, but can you blame him? Receivers were dropping passes on every drive & the oline gave him little time all gm. McCarthy also abandoned the run gm too early only making things tougher on the pass gm. I think they recommit to the run w/Zeke & Pollard against the awful Raiders. The “D” will be key here as Carr cannot handle pressure & that was 1 of the few highlights for DAL last Sunday.
2 Units NOR +6 ½: Big gut feeling here as both teams are off bad losses & both clubs traditionally do well off losses. The difference here will be NOR is @ hm in primetime & I have a suspicion Payton will play Taysom Hill a bit more w/Kamara once again out. NOR’s “D” is good enough to contain Josh Allen, who is having a terrible season. Allen is not confident in what he’s seeing & is even slow to decide when he should run, which was a major strength last yr. I could very much be wrong here as BUF’s “D” is one of the best in the NFL & Siemian has been terrible, however they’re susceptible to the run, which is why I think Hill takes a bunch of snaps under center.
