I"m doing this NFL thread separate from another one here.

This one is just for fun, but I do everything for a reason. :brazilian

1. We are looking for the NFL teams that will be most likely to have that "special sauce" against the spread this season. Qualifying by highest Margins of Victory and coming off an ATS loss to start a new streak.

And we will fade the ones that have the most negative "special sauce". Qualifying by lowest margins of Victory and coming off an ATS win to start a new streak.

2. Once a team qualifies...we ride it each week until it fails to cover.

So..we are looking for streaks of play that cover the spread.

Makes sense to me.

Good luck to us.:toast:

NFL Week #4 MisterMJ Special Sauce Picks.

Play on Buffalo -17.5 1pm ET with the special sauce this week. I know a lot of points, but we ignore the spread on these picks.

Play on Washington -2 1pm ET fading Atlanta because they have a lot of bad sauce this season. Likely to keep brewing bad sauce.

Play on Indianapolis +2.5 1 pm ET fading Miami because they are in negative sauce and still simmering in it.

Record is 0-0-0

So...3-0 last week. I LOVE this approach...for me anyway this is really fun. :toast:
Good luck this week if you follow, there are no guarantees whatsoever...but I like the card and so far...so good.

We play on Buffalo to cover again this week. We follow the streak once they qualify.

Atlanta as a fade won last week, so we should fade them again this week following the streak, but it gets ruled out by playing the Jets.
The Jets are also a fade team so we are stuck with a NO PLAY , but if Atlanta does not cover we can pick them back up next week on the streak. (Confusing perhaps but just trust me...I got this. :103631605)

Miami as a fade won last week and we will ride the streak today by fading Miami again.

Denver is a pick this week to cover and start a streak.

Carolina is a pick this week to cover and start a streak.

Fading Jacksonville is a pick this week to start a streak

All picks to PLAY ON are listed below:

8:20pm ET Buffalo +3
1 pm ET Tampa Bay -10 (Fading Miami)
1pm ET Denver -1
1 pm ET Carolina -3
1pm ET Tennessee -4.5 (Fading Jacksonville)

Streaks so far:
Buffalo W
Fading Atlanta W
Fading Miami W

Fixed it....thank you!

Carolina is listed -3 at the time of posting....not -1.

All lines used are the average line from Covers at the time of posting.

Monday Oct.18 8:15 pm ET Play on Buffalo -6

Monday night we will play on Buffalo which is on a 2 game ATS streak
Atlanta are on a bye coming off a NO PLAY week so it will probably be a play next week. (Confusing but just trust me to run the system ;-)
NY Jets
are on a bye coming off a NO PLAY week so it will probably be a play next week. (Confusing but just trust me to run the system ;-)
Miami and Jacksonville are a NO PLAY this week because they are playing each other. (Confusing but just trust me to run the system ;-)
Fading Houston and playing on Indy Colts is a new play hoping for the start of a fade streak on Houston after they covered last week.

Active ATS Streaks
Buffalo WW
Fade Miami W*
Fade Jax W*
Fade Atlanta W*
*= no play this week but possibly next week due to bye or disqualified by playing another qualifying team ;-)

Do you ship to Boston?

I need one of those jars of special sauce. The Holidays are coming. Need some on my turkey. But I'd like to taste some on my burger tomorrow.
