Why did Tampa Bay slide on the kick off with 2:02 remaining - gave GB and extra TO - and what was thinking? he was gonna fumble? why did Tampa except the intentional offsides - they were gonna pick up 1 yard - this was another TO for GB

We were talking about this in the sub forum thread but that fuckup probably helped them because it meant they could throw the ball on 1st down and they went to Evans for 9.

They ran wayyyy too much on 1st down for 1 yard all day.

As far as declining the intentional offsides, could you just jump again? How does that cat and mouse game work? Anyone know? Does the D just get an unsportsmanlike eventually or something?

They need a rule that if ur offsides - it is declined - and you do it again - they get the 5 yards and the clock starts running so you have to waste a TO - they probably already have the rule

Good thing he has the Rodgers rate for when he crashes and burns in the playoffs every year!

Game too big for the coach. Last year in the NFC championship game, GB was down 27-0 at the half to SF.

To the OP, and his title question. Will Rodgers leave GB?

Hahahaha! 4 years left on his deal. He will be the MVP when the voting results hit. Had an unbelievable year.

He's not leaving. No chance. ZERO. They won't trade him. He won't ask for a trade. He's back next season in GB unless he's dead.

Dumb question. But I won't call you dumb. I'll consider you young or drunk. Or just looking for some clicks.

Should be back deep into the playoffs next year, that division is pretty damn weak.

Also, for all the "AFC East helped Pats a ton" people, certainly playing in an easier division gives you a higher floor but you still gotta finish the job.

NFC North absolutely sucked this year and Packers still couldn't get it done, not as easy as it looks.

The whole NFC is pretty damn weak. If you had to pick a team from the NFC next year, who would it be? Packers and Bucs look the best on paper before the offseason moves begin.

Assuming the Niners keep Jimmy G (or get someone at least as good) and the roster stays pretty much the same and get back to health...

They are the best team by far in the NFC

He'll continue to not make the Super Bowl then.

Kicking a field goal there might've been one of the worst coaching decisions I've ever seen in a playoff game in any sport. I mean, what the actual fuck was that.Does Rodgers really want to deal with incompetency around him?

Being that talented with some pretty good rosters (especially as of late) and not going to a Super Bowl for a decade is unacceptable in my opinion. He can post 12-4 or 13-3 records year after year if he wants to. Hell, he went 15-1 one year. Not translating to championships, which is what the sport is about.

I get his contract situation, but might be better off to look for a new place to chase some titles.

Or maybe Rodgers just doesn't care enough about winning. Not everyone can be Tom Brady.

If he's looking for a coach that knows when to go for it on 4th down in big games, he might be fucked lol. He might have to jump to the CFL.

Pittsburgh/Buffalo/Tennessee out of the running as we've seen in the last month

Props to Reich in Indy, didn't work out but he gave his team best chance to win

By far? No, that's dumb.

When the entire roster is healthy they are definitely in the top tier of best teams in the NFC. But to say they are by far the best is dumb.

If they were to add a Deshaun Watson in the off-season and keep the core of the team in tact, I'd make them the odds on favorite to win the NFC. With Jimmy G at QB, the are no better than being in the conversation with another 3-4 teams.

He staying, coach will gone

That SHOULD happen

That decision to go for the FG was a fire-able offense, in my opinion.

The decision gets worse and worse the more you think about it, and that's impressive because it was so obviously retarded the second it happened.

I'll back off this a little. I won't put it at zero % chance. But keep it very slight. I just can't see Rodgers asking out of GB. Where is he going to go? There are only a couple of rosters out there that are at the level of GB. And most of them are set at QB. SF? Indy? Think he still is very bitter about SF passing on him in the draft and going with Alex Smith. He seems like one to hold grudges. Don't see him allowing a trade to SF even though he's from the area.

SF and Indy seem like the two I'd consider if I were him. Both have similar talent with much better coaching than this clown in GB.

I guess he could entertain New Orleans if he wants to go from one playoff choker to another.

Haha. Yeah, New Orleans would also be a place with a good roster in need of a QB.

He's like a God in Green Bay. So not sure he is willing to throw that out the window by forcing his way out. His legacy there has been tarnished a little with the championship game losses. But leaving disgruntled would certainly tarnish his legacy far more.
