Weird to see Ngannou as a dog against a guy who is going to stand with him
But it appears he is a bit more sneaky once on the ground as opposed to using wrestlingto get there
Look at the first fight with Stipe. Stipe usded really good movement to attack Ngannou
Ultimately though it was wrestling
Gane moves better than Stipe
Stipes style actually tends to be a bit more aggressive
Not sure why he didn't try to stick with the movement he had in the 1st fight
But I guess Ngannou was more measured and stalked him more as opposed to being aggressive
Will be a great fight
Still lean Ngannou but unlikely to bet it

My analysis on Gane has been pretty piss poor to this point. I’ve faded him 2-3 times and paid for it. As I’ve dug in a bit deeper here I have started sway from Ngannou a bit, but I’ll still probably be on him and fade Gane once again.

I’ve been pretty entrenched on Ngannou for this match up, especially as a dog.
My analysis on Gane has been pretty piss poor to this point. I’ve faded him 2-3 times and paid for it. As I’ve dug in a bit deeper here I have started sway from Ngannou a bit, but I’ll still probably be on him and fade Gane once again.
Same....I mean "Gane is sooo technical" analysis has just gone too far to me. It is heavyweight with 4oz gloves and anyone that can't wrestle/grapple Ngannou I'm gonna have to fade them as a favorite.
Gane looks good but he really hasn't fought anyone. A UFC heavyweight beat Rozenstruik and Derrick Lewis and all of a sudden he's Ali? He's nice but I'll believe that when I see it. Think Ngannou blasts him just like the rest.
I like Fig too, Fig is just a better fighter than Moreno, he has more ways to win and his power at 125 is real. His weight cut screwed him last time, he clearly won the first fight imo (even with the penalties) He just seems like kindof a headcase but as long as he doesn't look like shit at the weigh in I'm betting him.

Yeah I took the +165 on TKO/KO on Ngannou...He isn't winning a decision vs Gane.
I took Fig too, basically just a bet on talent/ability. This dude seems like a huge fucking headcase and doesn't have close to the mental makeup that Moreno does or to be a champion. But he has cement for hands at 125 and I atleast don't think he would've taken the return match so early if he wasn't focused so fuck it...Think his weigh-in is going well this time too? Haven't heard anything, if anyone has a take on that feel free to post.

Wins over Lewis, Volkov, Rozenstruik and a washed JDS are nice, but that’s a pretty water down crop IMO. I just keep coming back to Ngannou smashing this guy with some big shots in the first 5–10 minutes and finishing him off. If Gane can drag this into the 4-5th, he’s likely got it in the bag because Ngannou will slow down and either get finished or out pointed, but I don’t see Gane making it that far.
Figgy is the superior talent, but damn does he struggle to make this weight. Sounds like his cut was better this time, which should set up a barn burner. Moreno never seems to waver and has zero quit in him, where I could see Figueiredo get frustrated and/or do something stupid if things aren’t going his way. At this price though, he’s the play IMO.
Maybe my misjudging of Gane continues, but I have to go with my gut. I think Ngannou is knocking him the fuck out.KInda crazy Gane is -150 now

I wouldn’t be shocked if I’m a bit banged up later this evening and attempting to explain my analysis to my buddies after Gane dominates, wouldn’t be the first time. If I am wrong, I’m hoping to have a nice cushion of profit in the bank before the main event to make it all academic.
