NotGoodatThis: it is a good thing you didn't get 'S' plays yesterday. he went a Blazing 1-8 !!! Including NE +4' sunday nite. Talk about being DUE!!!
I believe 'H' is now 1-3 on the young football season football season after losing Pitt -6' yesterday.

I have a couple of guys you could have followed who went 4-1 and 3-2 respectively. I will call them "M" and "MH".

Oh, and did I mention, they post on THIS Forum ...

MistaFlava has some of the most informative writeups he generally wins more than he loses and he has a track record going back
at least 10 years.

MR.HarryTheHat is another Local guy who posts right here on this site. He includes analysis from solid vegas handicappers, uses several databases &
ratings. His analysis is as good as I have seen anywhere. He posts sides, ML plays a few totals & 2 team 7 pt teasers.

I followed him some LY. He is truly one of the best I have seen on the internet anywhere.
If you want to win this season, Check out these 2 guys who are right here in your own backyard.

Any “S” for today? Still don’t know this one.

PM if you want to know.

I didn't post (or follow) his picks yesterday, which went 1-8, and here is why:

"S" is +54.66 units YTD in all sports combined.

"S" is +72.27 units in the past 30 days in all sports combined.

I'd suggest treading cautiously with his picks.

"S": 6-11 YTD NFL
"S": 8-3 YTD NCAAF
"S" 14-14 YTD football
"S": 4-8 yesterday (all sports)
"S": 71-58, +63.43 units (last 30 days, all sports)

Appreciate this, Coach. I certainly look at Harry’s posts each week and read most of Flava’s too. Both certainly have great knowledge and do very well. Thank you for taking the time to write this up for me. Cheers!

Good call on treading lightly, although I missed that post and played his picks normally. Just wondering though, why are we treading lightly with S?

It's like when caution was suggested re following "H' in his football picks last year when he was on an unbelievably hot run. Certainly no one can keep that up indefinitely while often betting into odds that suggest they have a coin flip chance of winning.

Some people might be inclined to increase their bet sizes then, but i'm more of the decrease or lay off practice. Others may even prefer to fade. Still others would continue to bet the same amount.

The thing is, though, if one lays off before the hot run is over, then they miss some winners. So how does one decide when the time has come to lay off or decrease bet sizes of a solid long term winning capper on a very hot run of mostly winning picks. That's impossible to know. It's a matter of guesswork & intuition.

It could be argued that if the guy is believed to be a long term winner that flat betting is the proper course of action no matter how hot or cold the guy is. OTOH, lowering bet amounts by a percentage (0-100%) when a good capper is very hot is a cautious approach designed to not lose what has already been won during the hot streak.
