South Carolina (+7')
I hate this line, but I have to go with the Gamecocks here. Arkansas is coming off a 7 OT win and their only SEC wins had to come in overtime (@ Alabama and @ Kentucky).
Meanwhile, SC has only beaten the 2 worst teams in their division (UK and Vandy). They are 2-1 ATS on the road this year and I think their near-comeback at Ole Miss may have given them some confidence.
I think the Hogs are overvalued b/c of their past spread success in Little Rock, where this game will be played.
Not counting the overtimes LW, Arkansas' offense is averaging 16 ppg. The SC defense has goven up almost 1500 yards in the L3 games.
Arkansas is going to start Ryan Sorahan and then put Matt Jones in the game. I don't like them constantly switching QB's.
Holtz is a master motivator and he kept his team fighting till the end LW at Ole Miss and I believe he will do the same here.
