bengals +3 (-120)
1. primetime game at night and everyone says fade the bengals. they have a backup qb in there and are playing the team that no one wants to play in the playoffs, the team that the patriots allegedly wanted to avoid so the layed down against the dolphins....... yet the line is on -2.5 or -3. trap city!

2. these two teams know each other and hate each other. third time they are meeting this year. its bengals turn to win and even if they don't i have those 3 insurance points

3. aj mccareon thinks he is tom brady 2.0. he probably isn't but if he thinks he is he has a chance and definitely shows he's not afraid of the moment.

4. steelers d is bad and with the injury to d'angelo williams the steelers will be throwing on most plays. i see 2 int's by rothslisberger. he hasnt been playing well now for weeks.

5. people say they don't trust marvin lewis in big games, but what big game has tomlinson won post their superbowl win many years ago??

kc-3.5 (-105)
1. just taking what i believe to be the better team even though its a public road fave2
2. texans do not impress me at all. they have padded their stats (in a not so impressive manner) against a horrible division. of course their defense is going to seem great when they play in that division. only decent offense in that division this year was the jags and they were very inconsistent.
3. head coach matchup in kc's favor, qb in kc's favor, offense as as whole in kc's favor, defense is debatable but let's give a slight edge to houston. special teams no real advantage either way, but slight edge to kc.
4. i seen some people say kc is unreliable in the playoffs, look what happened to them against the colts when they gave up the huge lead. well, that scenario is actually encouraging to me because it shows andy reid and alex smith can get their points in a pressure game. luck just torched that defense in the second half. in no scenario would the texans be able to score points like that.
5. duane allen big loss for texans o-line.meanwhile kc d is getting healthier.
6. i could write alot more about this game but too lazy for now, maybe i'll add more later.

Washington -1
1. I realize skins haven't beaten anyone with a winning record but that's just fine because I don't consider the packers to have a winning record. They are 4-6 in there last 10 and one of the wins was the Hail Mary game. So I consider them a 3-7 team.
2. People keep thinking Rodgers and McCarthy are going to get this team going suddenly just because it's the playoffs. They have no talent on the team besides Rodgers so I'm not sure how they will suddenly breakout of their slump. The one semi good unit of their team is the defense and they were hit hard in the secondary with injuries.
3. Beside the sb year Rodgers has been subpar in the playoffs. He's not beloved on his team. Cousins has his team in his corner since the u like that game.
4. There were two teams from subpar divisions playing home games wildcard weekend and at least one of them will win. As u can see I picked kc to beat Texans and it appears they will hold on to win that game. Time for redskins to gain some respect for the nfc east

I haven't seen or heard a lot of people saying fade the Bengals. They're getting more action than you think and especially from this board. This will be a great game and the oddsmakers may hit the spread right on the dot with this one at 3 points. Of course it could go either way. BOL

The recreational bettor is all over the steelers. Steelers are too 3 most popular team in the nfl and the team ne supposedly was trying to avoid in the playoffs. The steelers have qb Big Ben starting and the most hyped rec in the league in Antonio brown.

Ask anyone who is a casual nfl fan who wins this game and they will all say the steelers kill the bengals. Don't read too much into what is on this message board. There's a small percentage of people who actually cap the games and the rest are scouring message boards for picks and then post their plays

good luck with whoever u choose as long as it's cinci lol

Vikings +4
1. Vikings got pasted 38-7 by Seahawks a few weeks back, they had an injured defense at that time and Seahawks had a decent rb. I expect a much closer game this time around. It's hard to beat a team twice in one season and these guys are all professionals.
2. Line being only 4 tells u the books are ok with betting on the Vikings so who am I to go against that.
3. The cold weather affects everyone but the Vikings walk around in this stuff everyday. Seahawks coming in for the weekend. The human body has to get acclimated to its environment. Advantage Vikings.
4. Something weird is going on with lynch. 1st the talk shows were speculating if he's going to get 20 carries or 25 carries, and how he's in the best shape of his life. Now he isn't making the trip?? Distraction advantage Vikings
5. Vikings are constructed similarly to the Rams who own the Seahawks.

something i forgot to mention for my vikings pick which could become more of a factor as the game goes on, the vikings sideline is in the sun and and the seahawks are in the shade the entire game. i heard this on pregame.com originally to give proper credit
