I am a big Tigers fan. My dad played there and we were raised as Missouri Tigers fans. With that being said. Missouri will not even be able to keep this close. Nebraska by 14+. We just don't have the talent or depth to keep up with them.

I'm feeling pretty good for this game, we should be able to run the ball on them from what I have seen from watching both teams.

The NU defense is much improved, and the secondary which is what has killed us the last couple of years, is a lot more shored up. NU will be able to get pressure on Daniel, and I think they will be able to shut the run down.

Lee can't have a terrible game, and we can't have turnovers and stupid penalties. If we do those things, we will comfortably IMO.

all stats point to nebraska on both sides of the ball... I dont think Missouri will be able to stop Nebraska on Defense, the Mizz/Nevada game was closer than most people think... take Nebraska and lets get in the plus column!

What has Nebraska showed you so far that says there defense is "much improved?" You do realize they have played 3 teams from the SUN BELT! The Sun Belt might be the equivalent to some Division 2 conferences...hell, weren't most of those teams D2 within the past 10 years anyways?

My only reservation with taking Mizzou is their inability to runt he football...along with their shoddy playcalling at times...one thing I learned though is regardless of the situation...never bet againstthe home team on Thursday nights...especially if they're an underdog...

The funny thing about this whole situation is that everyone is living off of a close road game that Nebraska played against the Hokies. C'mon guys, we all know that a team isn't as good or bad as their last outing. Nebraska has yet to prove any kind of consistency on the road, just like Oregon. Everybody plays good at home against Sun Belt teams. I'm not saying this is a guarantee cover for Mizzou, but I do think people need to stop drinking the kool aid until Nebraska proves their worth on more than one occassion.

I've already placed my bet on Nebraska, but if Lang is on them, I may have to buy it back.

Exactly.

That's why I am waiting patiently.

Between you and me, I'll say he's on Nebraska. (<)<

You're probably right. I may just leave it alone though. I like Nebraska in this spot and Lang usually wins at least one game a week.

"Usually wins at least one game a week" sounds awefully similar to the "they're due" theory! Like when Tennessee played at JAX in NFL last Sunday and were "due" to win. :ohno:

I go with the streak until it stops. I've gone 4-0 last 2 nights fading Lang - last night's college foots and tonight's MLB, so I have to keep going with the trend. That means FADE. Now if BOTH Lang + Rodfather are on SAME side....LOADING UP! :drink:
