Refs got the result they wanted... they had Carolina, that's for sure. Don't forget the Markov goal they disallowed, that actually looked like it was hit at crossbar level
I thought the NHL was a clean sport as far as corruption goes.... but after that game, now I'm not so sure anymore. There was only a couple of legit calls on Montreal as far as I can tell (Hamrlik boarding was legit) but most of the other ones were borderline at best. And the Canes weren't getting called either.
With the Donaghy scandal in NBA, to the Pittsburgh/San Diego NFL game this year, and now this game... where there is cash, there is corruption.
I wonder what the line movement was on this game
Why isnt anyone else commenting on this? Just turning the blind eye and sweeping it under the rug. Both of Carolinas goals were scored 5 on 3 and even when the Habs tied it the refs continued calling PP's to ensure another man advantage goal for the Canes to give them a lead once again. Please tell me when was the last time you seen a fucking 11-0 PP advantage for one team I am dying to know. Anyone who had money on the Habs tonight should be disgusted that the officiating cost them this game.
hahahahahahaha did you guys just hear the TSN panel there at the intermission of the Oilers game total shaking it off and sweeping it under the rug laughin about it and Garbo also said no comment. Why dont they state the obvious and admit that there was something more to it than this. 11-1 are you fucking kidding me?
Anyone else notice similarities between Carbo's and Steelers coach Mike Tomlins comments after both games with respect to the shadiness that happened? HMMM
Funny how everyone else on this forum hasnt commented in this thread yet. Seems as though they are all just as naive as the NHL itself on what happened last night in Raleigh and also wish to sweep it under the rug. Typical!

SSSSHHHHH lets just forget this game was even played and that nothing ever happended of a 11-1 PP advantage and move on tomorrow before anyone else notices or makes something of it.
