2 unit plays: 10-7
1 unit plays: 61-45-4
1-0 last night with a 2 unit winner on Syracuse.
Three tonight. Slow to wager today and two of these lines moved slightly against me, which is frustrating.
524 Georgetown -5.5 vs. Rutgers 2 units
First half Georgetown -2.5 vs Rutgers 2 units
-- My reasoning is much the same as I wrote in Low Tide's thread last night. I like the matchup here, but I think the spot favors the Hoyas more than anything else. G-Town had a legitimate chance to win that game on Saturday vs. UConn, but they came out flat and had to rally to get in contention. I doubt that will happen tonight, hence the rather large 1st half play. Rutgers played well against Pitt, but that is to be expected to them when they are at home. A different story on the road.
527 Marshall +13.5 vs. West Virginia 1 unit
-- I may be walking into a hornets' nest here. This play is based primarily on history. Over the last five years, never has the margin in this series reached double-digits. Marshall is terrible, I gladly concede, but on a neutral court I think this line is inflated due to Marshall's struggles and WV's success this year. I'll take a stab with 1 unit.
536 Wake Forest -9 vs. Maryland 1 unit
-- I've had this Wake team pegged wrong early, but I think tonight's game is a good spot for them. Maryland is overrated, while this Wake team seems to be hitting on cyclinders. Betting big chalk is not my strongest area, but I am taking a shot here that this game ends up in double digits.
Looking at a few more, but this is probably it. GL.
