Aliaskhab Khizriev vs. Kyle Daukaus
UFC Middleweight Main Card Bout
at Apex Centre
Making his promotional debut in the UFC’s middleweight division this weekend is promising Russian mauler Aliasknab Khizriev. An undefeated record with a skillset to match, Khizriev has impressed me to to the extent where I believe he could take the 185lb division by storm. The talent pool at middleweight is quite slim, in terms of talent, but the Russian has shown a lot of promise, and I’m struggling to find fault with him.
His opponent, Kyle Daukaus, has also shown many promising qualities, one of them being his toughness. His first high-level opponent in Brenden Allen put it on Daukaus but could not get him to give up or back down.
Both men should provide a fight of the night worthy type of contest, but personally, the debuting Russian has a lot of promise beyond the lower-ranked middleweight fighters. His ability to finish the fight standing or on the ground Is a vast threat when combined with his natural power evident amongst his Fight Nights Global and M-1 matchups.
Khizriev vs Daukaus Fight Prediction
If you did not already notice, I’m high on Khizriev and his chances at a solid ranking in the UFC middleweight division. Daukaus is no slouch, but if my readings are correct, we should witness the Russian make a considerable impact on his UFC debut.

Jim Miller vs. Joe Solecki
UFC Lightweight Bout
Saturday, April 10, 2021 – 10:05 PM EDT at Apex Centre
There is no denying that Jim Miller is a legend of the sport, and to still witness him enter the cage after taking part in some of the UFC’s most gruelling contests is a testament to his ability. Taking victories against the young guys like Roosevelt Roberts is something we should pay attention to, but in typical UFC fashion, I think they will be using their legends names as a stepping stone for the new breed.
And the new breed we’re talking about this week is Joe Solecki. Since making his UFC, he’s gone under the radar from the spotlight, even with two 1st round stoppages on his record. His most notable performance was against Austin Hubbard back in August, where he made an ultra-talented fighter in Hubbard look like a complete amateur.
Miller vs. Solecki Prediction
Jim Miller has always possessed the ability to finish the opposition inside the cage, his background in grappling and jiu-jitsu has assisted the veteran thus far. With that said, It’s hard for me to envision a scenario where he can dictate these same skills against a fighter who holds a similar threat but with a critical ten year age differential.
Both men’s trajectory is heading in opposite directions; Miller is heading towards the end of his career while Solecki is hunting for his first “big-name” victory.
Unfortunately for Miller, I believe this is Solecki’s fight to lose, and he should collect another win under his UFC contract this weekend.
