Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad
UFC Welterweight Bout
Apex Centre
Finally, a near two year wait for Leon ‘Rocky’ Edwards is reaching its end. It has been challenging for English fight-fans like me, but this weekend, the #3 ranked welterweight Leon Edwards return will happen.
A muay thai/kickboxing specialist out of Birmingham, England, Edwards is riding an eight-fight win steak. This win streak includes significant victories over Rafael Dos Anjos, Donald Cerrone, Vincente Luque & Gunnar Nelson. But on of the most exciting aspects to Edwards’s skill set would be his ability to wrestle, British fighters are well-known for lacking in their grappling offence, but Edwards has been breaking that trend for the previous seven years.
Belal Muhammad has been living up to his nickname of recent, ‘Remember the Name’ has given fight fans all the reason to keep his name present. With a relatable online persona, four-fight win streak and a 9-3 UFC record, he is one significant win short of a top-ten placement in the UFC welterweight rankings.
Having suffered countless re-scheduled bouts, cancelled fights and a long layoff, it is evident to see Edward’s has not been wasting his time. His online physique looks more robust than ever, and although both men hold several similarities, I am siding with a Leon Edwards decision victory in this bout.

Ryan Spann vs. Micha Cirkunov
UFC Light Heavyweight Co-Main Event Bout
Saturday, March 13, 2021 – 10:05 PM EST at Apex Centre
It’s been two long years since we last witnessed a fast-paced fight that Cirkunov is usually involved in. To give context – his previous six UFC contests have all ended within the first five minutes. Whether he’s losing or winning, Cirkunov gets to work quickly and leaves it all in the octagon.
Ryan Spann looked questionable for the UFC talent pool on his ‘Dana White Contender Series’ (DWCS) debut, but second chances exist for a reason, and I’m glad they do. His “comeback” has been ruthless, 5-1 record in the UFC (including his second attempt & victory on DWCS), with three of those bouts ending inside the distance.
I wouldn’t want to gamble on the side simply because of Cirkunovs layoff – you can never be too sure how a fighter is going to return after a long time spent side-lined. So, let’s direct our bankroll to the under/over market, specifically on the under one and a half rounds proposition betting market. NCAAB isn’t the only sport providing Madness in March; this fight will end brutally if my analysis doesn’t fail me.

Angela Hill vs. Ashley Yoder
UFC Women’s Strawweight Bout
The UFC women’s strawweight division has a plethora of new talent, but one veteran who’s been holding her own for the previous four years (Angela Hill) is returning for yet another fight. Hill’s enthusiasm for taking fights remains; she doesn’t turn one down and is always looking for the next.
Ashley Yoder will be looking to use her grappling offence; Hill’s striking ability will leave her down on the scorecards, so unless she can change levels and make this one an ugly ground war, I don’t fancy her chances of success.
Hill will dictate the pace while standing, striking at range while using a Muay Thai clinch if Yoder wants to enter within range.
UFC Best Bet: Hill to win by decision @ -175 with Bet365 [1.75u returns 1u profit]
