UFC 267 Main Event Prediction

Jan Blachowicz (C) vs. Glover Teixeira

UFC Light Heavyweight Championship Main Event Bout

UFC 267 takes place on Saturday, October 30th, live from the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, live on Fight Pass & ESPN+.

Jan Blachowicz (28-8-1) has delivered one of the most promising rises within the UFC’s light heavyweight division. A round of applause is due for the man who handed Israel Adesanya his first professional loss and prior stormed the division he was long touted to dominate.

Upon arrival to the UFC, Blachowicz underperformed, but the “Polish Power” turned his results into an impressive 9-1 streak since 2017 – capturing the championship gold along the way.

Experience in all facets of the fight game makes the defending champion tough to break; kickboxing and grappling backgrounds become evident once the cage door closes.

Glover Teixeira (32-7-0) is a veteran of the martial arts world, and he’s now taking on a second championship opportunity aged 42. Going the distance with Jon Jones during his initial title shot led to a decision loss, but a dislocated shoulder midway through the fight stumped his overall chance of victory.

A strong grappling background mixed with a keen ability to box inside the pocket results in a serious contender for Blachowicz’ gold strap.

Blachowicz vs. Teixeira Fight Analysis and UFC 267 Betting Prediction

Jan Blachowicz does a great job drawing his opponents into his style of fight, and a slow pace will often be followed by some unruly combinations. He’ll own the speed advantage and a more significant knockout potential, which will cause Teixeira the past problems he’s faced.

Glover’s game plan should be centred around grappling, but the strong hips of Blachowicz should fend off the oncoming grappling attempts.

With a twenty-five-minute time limit, it’s hard not to envision the champion finding the chin or body of Teixeira and finishing the fight via knockout.

UFC 267 Co-Main Event Prediction

Petr Yan vs. Glover Teixeira

UFC Bantamweight Interim Championship Bout

UFC 267 takes place on Saturday, October 30th, live from the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, live on Fight Pass & ESPN+.

Petr Yan (15-2-0) has put the Aljamain Sterling drama behind him and is looking towards capturing the title that was wrongfully taken from his waist.

Owning the title of Master of Sport in both boxing and MMA, Petr Yan has never struggled to deliver his opponents a technical and well-versed challenge on the feet.

The Russian born highly skilled bantamweight doesn’t always finish his opponents inside the distance, but they rarely leave the octagon without a welt or two.

Cory Sandhagen (14-3-0) will enter the octagon as one of Yans most difficult striking based opponents. Sandhagen owns all the striking tools necessary to compete with Yan in the stand-up area with Flying knees faints, diversity, and agility.

Yan vs. Sandhagen Fight Analysis and UFC 267 Betting Prediction

Despite the test Sandhagen will present on the feet, Yan’s defensive attributes and his ability to ground this contest make him the significant favourite and most favourable fighter to wager on this weekend.

Extreme pressure in his approach with a fight intelligence should be duly noted, fading the man who technically undefeated since his arrival to the UFC isn’t for the faint-hearted. And guess what, we’re not going to need a faint heart.

I expect Yan to play to outsmart, outmanoeuvre, and take his opponent into deep waters where Sandhagen will struggle to swim.
