Dana White and the UFC are not playing games for their event schedule in 2021, yet another highly stacked fight card with huge implications is set for this weekend in Vegas.
Three champions from multiple weight classes are ready to defend their UFC gold. The G.O.A.T of women’s MMA Amanda Nunes will defend her featherweight title against Megan Anderson, Petr Yan will defend his UFC flyweight championship against Aljamain Sterling. And last but certainly not least, current UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya will test his skills against the UFC’s newly crowned light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz.
Jan Blachowicz vs. Israel Adesanya
UFC Light Heavyweight Super Fight Main Event
Saturday, March 6th, 2021 – Live from the Apex Centre in Las Vegas
Israel Adesanya, 20-0 undefeated middleweight champion of the world, is now stepping up into the 205lb division to claim a second championship for the mantlepiece. An elite level of striking combined with an impenetrable takedown defence creates ‘Stylebender’, a nickname very suiting to the man who bent backwards to knockout former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker.
Jan Blachowicz is a complete martial artist who presents a dangerous offence no-matter where the fight takes place, ‘Polish Power’ is real. Nine career stoppage via submission is a few reasons he is the first light heavyweight champion since Jon Jones departure from the division.
Adesanya vs. Blachowicz Fight Prediction
Given both parties ability to finish a fight, the under/over could be worth a look if you are unwilling to lay the juice with Adesanya. Why would you apply the juice with Adesanya? Well, I would not – based on my gambling ethics. With that said, the dominant middleweight (Adesanya) holds all the unique advantages with a takedown defence that could completely eradicate Jan’s grappling attempts.
I expect another dominant Adesanya performance. Should he avoid the grappling exchanges with his striking offence, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him finish the fight within fifteen minutes.

Amanda Nunes vs. Megan Anderson
UFC Featherweight Championship Bout Co-Main Event
Saturday, March 6th, 2021 – Live from the Apex Centre in Las Vegas
The arguments have ended; Amanda Nunes is the greatest female martial artist ever to compete. Her credentials, broken records and active title defences of multiple divisions have solidified all G.O.A.T (Greatest of All-Time) conversations.
Megan Anderson is the former Invicta featherweight champion and relinquished her championship to tackle the UFC’s finest. Her previous two fights (both ended in round one) show why she’s next in line for a title opportunity.
Nunes vs. Anderson Fight Prediction
Some would say this fight is a striker versus grappler matchup, but how can we refer to Nunes as a grappler just because Megan has more success with her striking. Nunes has thirteen stoppages with her heavy hands and has won memorable wars against the most elite.
Let’s not hide from the blatant truth; Nunes holds the advantage in all fight game areas against Megan. And given that Felicia Spencer has pathed the way to a comfortable victory against Megan, I anticipate we’ll see a similar outing for the champ-champ.
UFC Best Bet: Nunes to win by submission @ +175 with Betway [1u returns 1.75u profit]
