Tottenham Hotspur FC vs. Arsenal FC

Sunday, January 15, 2023 – 11:30 AM EST at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The big London Derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal has forever been a thrilling encounter. All eyes will be on the capital city this Sunday when the two sides close out the weekend Premier League schedule.

Sitting comfortably in the first position of the EPL table, the Gunners will aim to replicate the scoreline from the reverse fixture (3-1) at the Emirates, as they utterly outclassed their fellow Londoners earlier this term.

With a five-point gap between themselves and second-placed Manchester City, Mikel Arteta’s men saw their five-game win streak end when drawing 0-0 with third-placed Newcastle United last time out.

Arteta’s men were unfortunate not to claim all three points against Newcastle, but they can return to winning ways when faced with a Tottenham squad that’s struggled for consistency of late.

During this stretch, Tottenham has won just one of their last four home games, losing to Villa, Liverpool, and Newcastle.

Pick and Prediction

Spurs’ early-season home form is why they’re still holding fifth place in the standings, but this stance no longer exists. With that said, they’ve only failed to find a goal at home once this term. And with Harry Kane in fine form, expecting both teams to score is a wagering position that gives us confidence.

US Lecce vs. AC Milan

Saturday, January 14, 2023 – 12:00 PM EST at Stadio Ettore Giardiniero – Via del Mare

Reigning Serie A champions AC Milan will visit Lecce this weekend. If they want to keep themselves in the title picture with a chance of successfully defending the Scudetto, overcoming their opponents on Sunday will be imperative, as Napoli owns a seven-point gap at the summit.

The defending Serie A title holders are undefeated in five consecutive Serie A meetings; however, they’ve won in six domestic games just once.

The Rossoneri squandered a two-goal lead against Roma last time out, as a lack of consistent efforts is the reason Stefano Pioli’s squad allowed Juventus to take their second-place positioning in the standings.

In defense of Milan, their Serie A away record has been excellent thus far, winning four of their previous six games on the road while netting at least two goals in all of those victories.

For a side that wasn’t expected to produce much this term, Marco Baroni’s Lecce squad has enjoyed a fine belt of form as they are having a commendable campaign.

Lecce welcomes their visitors this Sunday behind a five-game undefeated streak, and their 0-0 draw with Spezia last weekend was the end of a three-game win streak.

While Lecce hasn’t been perfect on home turf this season, they’ve been incredibly difficult to beat, losing just one of their previous seven home games this term.

Pick and Prediction

Lecce’s recent domestic home encounters haven’t been high scoring, but it’s worth noting that both teams have scored in 15 of their previous 16 meetings on home turf.

All things considered, expecting both teams to score at -106 feels like an excellent piece of betting value.
