Super Bowl 57 won’t be for another year, but that isn’t likely to discourage bettors from looking ahead to the distant future. The allure of banking on the great value that only early NFL odds can offer is way too tempting to ignore, after all.

Below we look at the early Super Bowl 57 markets that have already gone to press.

Super Bowl 57 Futures Already Trading: Chiefs and Bills Top Favorites

The Los Angeles Rams are the newly minted NFL champions after beating the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 in Super Bowl 56 on Sunday night. But just as the confetti started to cascade onto the luscious field of the $5 billion-dollar SoFi stadium, several top sportsbooks went to press with their initial serving of futures odds for Super Bowl 57. Interestingly, the Rams aren’t the team to beat as per the bookmakers, despite being the reigning champions. That principality belongs jointly to the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills – both of which opened as the top bets in the market for SBLVII.

The fact that the Chiefs and Bills are unanimously tipped as the favorites at the sportsbook exchange was to be expected. To be fair, their divisional showdown was one of the best games of the playoffs this season, showcasing the quality, depth and talent contained within each camp.

FanDuel has listed the Chiefs and the Bills at +700 in its NFL futures market to lift the Lombardi Trophy next season. BetMGM and DraftKings also list the Chiefs and the Bills as the co-favorites to win SBLVII, but at slightly higher odds of +750.

Rams and Cowboys Follow, Bengals Close Behind

After this top tandem, the markets have taken a different view on the value of the subsequent contenders for Super Bowl 57, such as the Rams, Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals and so on. While most agree about which teams should be inside the Top 10 bets, the odds differ quite significantly with these choice contenders depending on the operator,

At FanDuel, the Rams are the third-best bet alongside the Dallas Cowboys, although both are almost double the odds of the top tandem at +1200. Similarly, the Bengals are at almost double the odds with FanDuel, priced at +2100 alongside division rivals Baltimore Ravens.

Conversely, BetMGM offers the Rams at +1100 while the Cowboys and the Bengals are priced at +1200. DraftKings has the Rams at +1000 and the Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers and the Bengals all at +1400.

Packers and Niners Inside the Top 10

The Green Bay Packers and the 49ers are tipped inside FanDuel’s Top 5 teams to spot for NFL picks next season with odds of +1300 and +1500, respectively. However, these sides are facing serious decisions at the quarterback positions. Aaron Rodgers may or may not be in Green Bay next season while reports suggest Jimmy Garoppolo is certainly on his way out. So, what happens at the quarterback position will decide whether the Packers and the Niners maintain their lofty standing in this market come next September.

At the height of the Rodgers sage with the Packers, the veteran signal-caller was linked to a potential trade with the Denver Broncos. Several sports betting sites appear to be putting stock into this rumored trade again. One such sportsbook is BetMGM where the Broncos and the Packers are priced identically at +1600 to win Super Bowl 57.

The Los Angeles Chargers, Tennessee Titans, Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts follow with odds of +2400. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+2600), New England Patriots (+2800) and New Orleans Saints (+3000) round out the Top 10 with FanDuel. Aside from the Chargers, Titans and Patriots, the rest of these aforementioned hopefuls have plenty of question marks.

Kyler Murray’s future in Arizona is in question, Baker Mayfield’s situation in Cleveland is precarious, the Buccaneers are faced with the impossible task of replacing Tom Brady and the Saints are embarking on a new era without Sean Payton. It’ll be interesting to see how many of these early contenders will hold their place in the market when the 2022-23 season gets underway this fall.
