Genius Sports is now powering the new and improved Resort World New York sports betting app called Resorts WorldBET which is launching in the highly lucrative New York sports betting market.

Genius Running RW’s Digital Platform

Resorts World’s brick-and-mortar casinos, Resorts World Catskills, and Resorts World New York City are a retail part of Genting’s portfolio. Genting is the Malaysian parent company of the Resorts World brand and is now focused on positioning its New York digital sports betting platform, Resorts WorldBET, as a leader in the biggest and most hotly contested sports betting market in the nation.

And to that end, they have teamed with Genius Sports for their proprietary LiveData and LiveTrading solutions. This new platform will sync with the retail big-screen, sports bar environment at Bar 360 in Queens, at Resorts World New York City, and Sportsbook 360 at Resorts World Catskills. But most importantly, it will flex in the fiercely competitive sports betting turf of New York, muscling for market share with titans like FanDuel, Draft Kings, BetMGM, Caesars, and many more.

On March 3, 2022, Resorts World New York became the penultimate online operator to launch in the Empire State leaving only Bally Bet still sitting on the sidelines. And now that Genius Sports is in charge, their customers will be getting a state-of-the-art app to place their wagers.

New York Sports Betting to Lead the Nation

“With over 20 million people and a rich sporting history, the New York online sports betting market has enormous potential,” said Mark Locke, CEO of Genius Sports. “Resorts WorldBET is set to be one of the key players in the market and Genius Sports will be central to their offering, providing premium exclusive content on top tier competitions including NASCAR, EPL, and NFL.”

“We are excited to partner with Genius Sports and offer the most cutting-edge technology with real-time data so that customers stay ahead of the game,” said Darlene Monzo, Chief Marketing Officer of Genting Americas East, which operates Resorts WorldBET.

“Mobile sports betting in New York is primed to lead the nation and our world-class platform offers exactly what customers are looking for: an innovative mix of speed, reliability, and access to the most advanced data available,” she added.

Paysafe Added to Resorts WorldBET

Resorts WorldBET has made another move to improve its digital platform, recently partnering with Paysafe. This should be a seamless integration as Paysafe is already being used by several other online operators in the New York market and will allow players to place their deposits with Resorts WorldBET by debit card or ACH, and receive payouts through the same network.

Zak Cutler, CEO of North America iGaming at Paysafe, said: “We’re excited to partner with Resorts WorldBET, Resorts World New York’s state-of-the-art mobile sports betting app. Given the strong correlation between payments and U.S. sportsbooks’ player acquisition, we look forward to helping Resorts WorldBET increase its customer base and revenue in 2022 and beyond.”

Darlene Monzo, Chief Marketing Officer, Genting America’s East, stated, “We’re excited to offer New Yorkers the fastest, most reliable, and safest mobile sports-betting experience. Paysafe’s platform provides the most advanced payment processing solution and we’re proud to have them on our team.”
