Digital gaming operator and leading sports betting enterprise, BetMGM/MGM Resorts International today announced the expansion of their revolutionary partnership with the National Hockey League (NHL). The breaking news stems as the T-Mobile Arena, operated by MGM Resorts, begins preparations to accommodate the Honda NHL All-Star Weekend between the 4-5 of February in Las Vegas.
Multiple events are also scheduled to take place at MGM Resorts’ exemplary settings located on the Las Vegas strip. MGM Resorts began conducting business with the NHL in 2018, which became the National Hockey League’s first-ever sports betting partnership.
Four years have surpassed since the initial contract signing, and now the partnering companies have announced “a multi-year extension” of their budding relationship. Newly announced terms will see BetMGM and MGM Resorts continue utilizing NHL brands to design engaging experiences for their customers and guests.
Both MGM Resorts and BetMGM will benefit from on-site activation opportunities, camera-visible signage, and integration into NHL’s jewel events. Furthermore, the agreement positions the pair as an official sports betting partner of the NHL. This doesn’t come without a conscious effort in supporting responsible gambling.
The NHL, MGM Resorts, and BetMGM have endorsed the American Gaming Association’s responsible gambling campaign, known as ‘Have A Game Plan’. Have A Game Plan was designed to advocate sensible sports wagering decisions to new consumers and seasoned bettors alike. To add, MGM Resorts and BetMGM are devoted to GameSense.
GameSense is a commercial enterprise-leading program constructed and licensed to MGM Resorts by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), focusing on constructive, transparent, and keyed-up discussions with customers and guests regarding how to gamble responsibly.
