We’ve added our top three bets for Week 14 in the NFL. Let’s see what the NFL odds tell us at the best sportsbooks!

New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills

Sunday, December 11, 2022 – 01:00 PM EST at Highmark Stadium

Teams Analysis

New York Jets

The Buffalo Bills already lost to the New York Jets this season. The Bills lost with Zach Wilson under center in that game. With Mike White at quarterback and the offense starting to find a rhythm, the Jets are still 9.5-point underdogs against the Bills on Sunday. I disagree.

The Jets are the much better defense coming into this game. The defense shut down the Vikings when they needed to and gave the Jets multiple chances to put the game away last week. New York didn’t close out the game in the red zone, but the defense was terrific when it needed to be, even after allowing 27 points in a 27-22 loss.

The Jets have been hot-and-cold this season. They’re 7-5 and are currently in the playoff hunt. A win against the Bills would put the Jets just one game behind them in the AFC East standings.

The Jets have had multiple games with over 300 yards passing with Mike White. You can expect that again from White, who typically dumps off passes to his running backs and gets the yards after the catch.

On the other hand, the Bills have averaged over 420 yards per game on offense. The run game has worked well, earning 136.3 yards per game. That’s thanks to Josh Allen and Devin Singletary. But now James Cook is starting to rise in the depth charts.

The Pick

The Jets have only allowed 112.7 yards per game on the ground and dominated Allen and the Bills defensively in the first meeting.

Back the Jets at +9.5 for your NFL picks.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos

Sunday, December 11, 2022 – 04:05 PM EST at Empower Field at Mile High

Teams Analysis

The Denver Broncos have scored under 14 points per game this season. The defense has been tremendous, but the offense just can’t keep up. Against the Chiefs, the Broncos are going to struggle to get stops. Kansas City has earned 434.1 yards per game with over 29 points per game.

Denver has lost four straight games and has scored no more than 16 points in any of those games. But nobody doubts Mahomes and the Chiefs’ ability to score, even against the Broncos.

It’s also rare for the Chiefs to lose in back-to-back games. They scored at least 24 points in their last four games. If the Chiefs score 24 against the Broncos, they’ll likely cover the hefty spread of 9.5.

The Pick

I don’t always love backing significant spreads, but the Chiefs are far and beyond the better team in this matchup.

Russell Wilson has quarterbacked the Broncos throughout the year and has eight touchdowns and five interceptions in 12 games. That’s just brutal stuff.

Back the Chiefs at -9.5.

NFL Pick: Chiefs -9.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Sunday, December 11, 2022 – 08:20 PM EST at SoFi Stadium

Teams Analysis

The Miami Dolphins lost their first game in over a month last week. The 49ers got the best of the Dolphins with their defense. However, the Chargers aren’t nearly that good on defense. Los Angeles is still waiting on Joey Bosa to return. He would make an impact, but he wouldn’t turn the defense around.

The Chargers have allowed 385.3 yards per game with over 150 yards on the ground. Tua Tagovailoa should be able to get back to his game and limit the turnovers while finding his receivers down the field.

He dealt with an injury. He also didn’t have Jaylen Waddle at total health in that game, either, as he was in and out of the game.

The Chargers have an average secondary to go along with an average pass rush. That’s why the Chargers are an average team with a 6-6 record. The run defense is miserable, and the offense has had little time at full strength.

Mike Williams could return for the Chargers and give Justin Herbert more options. But when it comes down to coaching, the Chargers just don’t have what it takes late in games to win football games.

The Pick

I’ll take the Dolphins to get back on track on Sunday Night Football. The offense is excellent, but they just ran into an outstanding San Francisco defense and struggled.

That won’t be the case against the Chargers.

NFL Pick: Dolphins -3 (-114) at FanDuel
