We’re headed to Week 13 in the NFL season. Which bets should you consider on Sunday?
New York Jets vs. Minnesota Vikings
Sunday, December 4, 2022 – 01:00 PM EST at U.S. Bank Stadium
The New York Jets made a quarterback change last week prior to their game against the Chicago Bears. Mike White casually threw for 315 yards along with three touchdowns. He had a 91.2 QBR and a 149.3 quarterback rating. Jets fans weren’t used to that with Zach Wilson under center.
White will get another chance to shine against Minnesota. The Vikings have a terrible secondary and have performed poorly against the pass all season long. It sounds like Mike White will have another huge game.
White got all of his receivers involved. Ten different players caught balls from White. He managed to make everyone happy and distributed the ball within the offense. The Jets have a ton of playmakers on offense, but they weren’t getting enough touches with Wilson under center.
On the other hand, the Vikings just dropped 33 points on the Patriots last week, winning 33-26. Minnesota’s offense has averaged 23.8 points per game, but they dominated an excellent Patriots defense.
That’s the same defense the Jets have struggled against for multiple games this year. Like the Jets, the Vikings have a ton of offensive talent, including Justin Jefferson. Kirk Cousins and Jefferson have an incredible connection and are one of the best quarterback-receiver duos in the league.
The Jets struggled against the Bears last week. They weren’t crisp, but they pulled away thanks to a turnover in the red zone. But the Vikings should be able to score.
Let’s grab the Over 44.5 in this one for our NFL picks.

Miami Dolphins vs. San Francisco 49ers
Sunday, December 4, 2022 – 04:05 PM EST at Levi’s Stadium
The Miami Dolphins haven’t lost with Tua Tagovailoa when he plays a complete game this season. Yet, the Dolphins are four-point underdogs against the San Francisco 49ers this week.
The 49ers shut down the Saints last week and have now won four straight games. But San Francisco still scored just 13 points, despite having such a lethal offense with so many playmaking weapons. That’s concerning.
The 49ers won’t have Elijah Mitchell for the remainder of the regular season, and Christian McCaffrey rushed 11 times for just 32 yards last week against the Saints. McCaffrey failed to make an impact with Deebo Samuel and George Kittle, who had three catches each in that game against the Saints.
The Dolphins aren’t going to get shut out by the 49ers. Instead, Tagovailoa has entered his name into the MVP conversation. He’s got multiple wide receivers like Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill, who can make plays as long as he calls them the ball. And he’s done that.
I’m going to side with the Dolphins against the spread.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Sunday, December 4, 2022 – 04:25 PM EST at Paycor Stadium
The Kansas City Chiefs haven’t missed a beat offensively. They’ve scored nearly 30 points per game this season, even without Tyreek Hill on the roster. The running game is starting to pick up for the Chiefs, allowing Patrick Mahomes to keep the offense balanced and the opposing defense off-balanced.
The Chiefs have earned over 440 yards per game offensively. They’ve earned over 325 yards passing per game and are still getting 114.8 yards on the ground.
Meanwhile, the Bengals have looked solid defensively this season, but a couple of weeks ago, they were playing in a shoutout against Kenny Pickett and the Pittsburgh Steelers. They also allowed Carolina to score 21 points and gave up 32 to the Cleveland Browns and 17 to the Falcons. The defense is beatable, especially for the Chiefs.
The Bengals will have Ja’Marr Chase back at receiver. They’ll also potentially have Joe Mixon back from a concussion. The offense is starting to get fully healthy with some key players back on the field.
Cincinnati has earned nearly 26 points per game with 387.6 yards. The run game has been fragile this year, even with Mixon. But having a guy like Mixon back in the lineup should help the offense move down the field and create third and shorts.
I’ve got the Over 52.5 hitting in this one.
