Rap goddess, Nicki Minaj, has recently become one of the first female celebrities to become a significant player in the world of sportsbook owners.

Minaj has invested in MaximBet and she is hoping to shift the sports betting landscape to a more female-friendly environment.

The New M&M

News broke last week that rap star, Nicki Minaj had invested in MaximBet and would become an executive and global ambassador of the company.

The deal would also make her the lead creative director of Maxim Magazine. It’s a dual role to which Minaj seems perfectly suited as she has the sex appeal and star power to bring publicity and a young demographic to the four-year-old gaming entity.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been prouder of a collaboration,” said Minaj in a press release. “Merging business savvy power moves with my natural, creative, sexy, fun, and fashion-forward expression is just so spot-on as it relates to this partnership.

I’m ready to fully step into my potential as a young, influential Queen, and owner and open doors for others to dream big.

Get ready for the sexy parties and remember: scared money doesn’t make NO MONEY!!!! HA!!! Place your bets!!!! Let’s GO!!!”

Nicki Minaj Business Experience

Daniel Graetzer, CEO of MaximBet, stated: “Nicki Minaj is one of the most iconic and influential entertainers in the world.

The conversion of entertainment and sport is happening at warp speed, and we’ve built a brand that can appropriately stand at the center of that.

“Nicki’s business experience and relationships open a wealth of opportunity for MaximBet and her involvement as an owner will allow us to work together on decisions in all parts of the business.”

Minaj Building Her Empire

Minaj is also embarking on her own record label/management company and is proving to be a business-savvy powerhouse who is expanding her empire within and outside of the music industry.

But the publicity she reaps in one business has crossover appeal to her other ventures and that is something that MaximBet hopes will help them attract new customers and allow them to successfully compete against the goliaths of the U.S. licensed sports betting market like FanDuel, Caesars, BetMGM, and DraftKings.

MaximBet Explosive Growth

“Nicki Minaj is recognized for disrupting the male-dominated industry of rap music and is planning to do the same with sports betting”, the MaximBet Statement read.

“The ground-breaking partnership with Minaj allows the company to accentuate experiential sports betting even more by continuing to capitalize on the explosive growth of the sector,” stated the announcement.

“The total addressable market in the United States for online sports betting and i-gaming is growing at 32% annually and is expected to reach $58 billion by 2025.”

MaximBet Expects Exposure

MaximBet is lesser-known sports betting brand, currently living only in Colorado but is soon to be rolling out its digital platform in nine other states as well as the Canadian province of Ontario.

Having Minaj as the face of the company will undoubtedly bolster its exposure and bring a whole new look to an industry that has been male-dominated since its inception.
