The Fun Starts Thursday
The promotion is activated with an in-play bet for a game on Thursday. If you place a live bet on any NHL, NBA or NCAA basketball game in progress on Thursday night, MaximBet will give you back 50 percent of the amount wagered to spend that weekend.
The offer began in September and is scheduled to run through the end of February, leaving two more long weekends to play.

Fine Print
The free bet payout is limited to $50, so a $100 in-play bet would qualify for the maximum amount. For any bets above $100, the free bet payout will be limited to $50. For bets less than $100, the free bet payout is 50 percent of the amount wagered.
It’s only good with in-play bets for Thursday games. There seems to be a grey area about when the Free Bet Credits can be used. The offer states that the in-play bet earns 50 percent in Free Bet Credits “to use on the same weekend.” But the terms and conditions say they are valid for seven days.
Only single bets are eligible. Parlays and any other type of bet do not qualify. Bets made with Free Bet Credits or bonuses do not qualify. Neither do bets that use Super Boost or Odds Boost.

The free bet credits are capped at $25 per game.
MaximBet also offers some coverage for NBA Player Prop bets. If you place at least a $20 bet on any individual player points prop, and it loses, you get $3 in free bets for every three-point shot he made in the game.
