Major League Baseball (MLB) has recently extended its alliance with MGM Resorts. A brand-new multi-year contract will expand and renew its current contract to see BetMGM continue as MLB’s official sports betting partner.

BetMGM and the newly established contract renewal with the baseball league will further expand the brand marketing throughout MLB’s vast range of digital channels such as the MLB website, MLB Network, and the extensive selection of MLB applications.

In addition, MGM Resorts’ loyalty program (MGM Rewards) was the sponsor of this season’s All-Star celebrity softball game and the lead sponsor for the first-ever All-Star Extra Innings musical that took place at Dodger Stadium.

Lance Evans, the MGM Resorts Senior VIP of Sports and Sponsorships, said: “We are thrilled to extend and expand upon our work with Major League Baseball.

We’re incredibly proud of the growth and innovation that have transformed our industries since launching our partnership four years ago. We’re eager to continue breaking new ground and delivering world-class sports and entertainment experiences for baseball fans worldwide.”

BetMGM and MLB Digital Push

With a primary focus on extending their digital push, the partnership will involve the combination of sports betting data and promotion throughout Major League Baseball’s media channels for national and international activations at events and entertainment experiences for fans.

BetMGM will receive in-depth, exclusive statistics as the sportsbook operator acts as the MLB-authorized gaming operator, including the integration of an MLB stats feed across digital and domestic games.

Matt Prevost, the Chief Revenue Officer at BetMGM, said: “It is an exciting day to announce the extension of our partnership with MLB. Collaborating with the League allows us to reach new audiences while delivering a baseball-wagering product. We look forward to growing our industries together.”

To complement sports and MLB bettors, the partnership will see the two work together on MLB Network’s show, Bettor’s Eye, a program that delivers betting information for those wanting to dig deeper into baseball analytics.
