Breaking Down The Los Angeles Rams
The Rams have had a real rough year so far as they have gone just 4-9 on the year and that is after starting out 3-1. That 3-1 start included a 9-3 home win over Seattle. They have now fired HC Jeff Fisher and John Fassel will take over as interim coach. That defense for the Rams really played well earlier in the year, but has really tired out down the stretch as they have allowed 39 ppg in their last 3 games. Just horrible defense and now they have to try and slow down a Seattle team that was just embarrassed in Green Bay last week. Good luck there. The Rams defense comes in ranked 10th in total yards allowed. 9th vs the pass, 20th vs the run and 19th in points allowed, giving up 23.4 ppg. On offense they have really struggled and have even gone to rookie QB Jared Goff, who has started the last four games and he has just a 65.3 QBR so far, which would be the worst in the league if he had enough snaps. He has a good arm, but just needs another offseason to be the QB that they were expecting him to be when they took him with the overall number 1 pick. This offense comes in ranked 32nd in total offense, 29th in passing, 30th in rushing and 32nd in scoring, putting up just 14.9 ppg. It will not be easy for this offense against a very good Seattle defense.

The Rams have been a thorn in the side of Seattle of late and even though their defense hasn’t played well of late, it could give a Seattle offense that has had issues of late. The Seattle offense comes in ranked 13th in total offense, 12th in passing, 19th in rushing and 22nd in scoring, putting up just 21.1 ppg. The defense has been strong all year and now gets a crack at a rookie QB and a horrible offense overall, plus they will be a bit upset after getting torched by the Packers last week. This defense comes in ranked 8th in the league in yards allowed, 10th vs the pass, 13th vs the run and 4th in points allowed, giving up just 17.8 ppg.
