It’s good to play after getting some rest. But in this case, the Heat could be rusty from having too much rest. Miami last played on Thursday.
I envision the Heat toying around with the Raptors, whose young players will be highly motivated going against LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and former teammate Chris Bosh.
It’s easy to overlook the Raptors with their lack of stars. Toronto, though, often slips under-the-radar getting good line value. The Raptors had won 10 of 13 before losing four in a row, including blowing 19- and 20-point leads against Philadelphia and Milwaukee. The Raptors got back to winning, beating the Lakers at home in their last game this past Sunday, 108-103. That should provide a nice confidence boost for the Raptors.
Toronto quietly is 9-3-1 ATS in its last 13 games versus Eastern Conference opponents. The Raptors are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games in Miami. Only once in their last 19 games have the Raptors lost by more than 12 points.
