It’s been a productive week for the global online gambling company Betway. An extended partnership deal with eSports standout BLAST Premier has taken place, alongside a newly instated collaboration with Brazil’s Stock Car Pro Series – marking their first-ever motorsports sponsorship.

The Betway Group revived an ongoing relationship with CSGO esports series BLAST Premier, which will extend their contract until the 2023 season has concluded.

Brand Positioning

The deal will position Betway’s branding throughout several BLAST Premier events in 2022 and beyond, in addition to a ‘Power Picks Prediction’ promotion that will be advertised during competition broadcasts.

“Over the past three years, we have worked incredibly hard with the team at BLAST to create an innovative and synonymous partnership which leads the market within the sports sector.”, Adam Savinson of the Betway Group commented.

He continued: “It brings me great joy to announce our renewal, and I look forward to taking our already successful partnership to even greater heights.”

A partnership that’s existed since 2018 was renewed in 2020, a year that saw Betway maintain a ‘potent and distinguishable’ existence for the duration of BLAST Premier’s 2021 Counter-Strick tournament.

Head of Brand Partnerships at BLAST, Oliver Clarke, added: “We’re thrilled that Betway has committed to another two years with BLAST Premier, taking our partnership into the fifth year. It highlights the symbiotic relationship we’ve built over this time, with Betway playing an integral role in the BLAST Premier experience”.

Marketing strategists at the Betway Group further expand their venture into esports with this deal, which has followed an additional extension with BeastCoast earlier this year. Similarly, Betway secured the branding rights to access critical components of BeastCoast’s activations.

Betway Debut in Motorsports Market

Elsewhere, Betway has recently been announced as the exclusive collaborator of the Brazilian Stock Car Pro Series – the nation’s touring car auto racing series – positioning themselves into their debut motorsports sponsorship.

The recently inked deal will see the Betway gambling establishment produce shared social media content whilst additionally receiving branding-related television exposure.

Betway’s CEO, Anthony Werkman, commented: “Our agreement with the Stock Car Pro Series is not only the Betway brand’s first in Motorsport, but it’s also our first sports deal in the country of Brazil.

“The Stock Car Pro Series is one of the most supported and viewed sports in Brazil, with it being broadcast on their free-to-air television channel brand. We’re excited by this partnership that will no doubt help grow our brand awareness in South America.”

Perfect Timing

The motorsports Car Pro Series began last week on February 11 at the Autodromo Interlagos, with 24-races throughout the season that will run until November 2022. Fans haven’t attended the event since 2019, and with returning crowds this year, they’ll notice a key difference as Betway’s branding will be in view at each racecourse.

Key figures of the motorsports industry partake in the competition, such as former F1 drivers Nelson Piquet Jr, Rubens Barrichello, Felipe Massa, and Ricardo Zonta.

CEO of the Brazilian Stock Car Pro Series, Fernando Julianelli, concluded: “We are very proud to have Betway as Stock Car Pro Series sponsor.

“One of the world leaders in this segment has constantly been investing in major sports competitions, especially supporting and defending responsible gambling. We will be together with Betway, believing in the growth of this market in Brazil.”
