The Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors are playing for the NBA championship. Regardless of which team lifts the Larry O’Brien trophy after winning four games, BetMGM wants to make you the big winner by giving you $200.

The Details

Basically, all you need to do is sign up for a BetMGM account and bet $10 on any game in the NBA Finals, and you’ll get $200 in free bets.

That’s a 20-to-1 payoff on your bet, regardless of whether you win or lose. Plus, if you happen to beat the NBA odds and win, you’ll get to keep those winnings on top of the $200.

Strings Attached

We know what you’re thinking: They must get you with the terms and conditions. Surely, there are strings attached to this $200 offer. And yes, there are, and they have been changing from game to game.

For instance, in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, in order to get the $200 bonus, one of the two teams had to score at least one point in order to activate the bonus. In other words, unless the Celtics and Warriors played to a 0-0 tie, you were getting the money.

People who took advantage of the offer didn’t have to wait long, wondering if they were going to cash in. The first point was scored 58 seconds into the game.

Game 2 had a similar offer. If any player on either team scored, you got the $200. The suspense lasted even less time in this game. People who took BetMGM’s offer had their money after 35 seconds of play.

When the series switched locations for Game 3, BetMGM switched up the offer. In order to activate the $200 bonus for Wednesday’s game, someone on one of the two teams has to hit a 3-point shot.
