Last week, we showed bettors from Pennsylvania some love – and how to get max value betting on the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1 of their first-round series with the Brooklyn Nets. Final score: Nets 101, Sixers 121, with Philly cashing in as 8.5-point home faves.
Now it’s time to flip the script and give New York the respect it deserves. The Nets may be down 0-2 heading into Thursday’s Game 3 at Barclays Center, and their chances of victory don’t look all that good, but this bonus bet offer from Caesars Sportsbook makes betting on Brooklyn an easy lay-up for your NBA picks.
Philadelphia 76ers vs. Brooklyn Nets
Thursday, April 20, 2023 – 07:30 PM EDT at Barclays Center
Bonus Bet: Up to $1,250
Here’s how it works: New customers from the Empire State will receive a free bonus bet of up to $1,250 if their first real-money bet doesn’t cash in. That’s on top of the 1,000 reward credits and 1,000 tier credits you get from Caesars when you place that initial wager.
To claim this bonus bet deal, use the promo code ODDSTRADERFULL when you open your account at Caesars, then place your first bet – it has to be at least $10, but if your bankroll is big enough, consider depositing and betting the full $1,250 to get the most value from this bonus.
If your bet isn’t a winner, you’ll receive your bonus bet of the same amount, which you’ll have 14 days to use before it expires. Note: There is a one-time playthrough requirement before you can withdraw any profits you make from your Bonus Bet. Make sure you read all the details at Caesars before signing up.
Net Gains
Having this bonus bet in your quiver makes it a lot easier to bet on Brooklyn as 4.5-point home dogs on the NBA odds board for Game 3. They carried some betting value into the first two games in Philly, but the Sixers dominated Game 1 on Saturday, then rallied to take Monday’s rematch 96-84 as 9.5-point favorites.
It’s possible that the Nets just don’t have the size to deal with Joel Embiid. Nic Claxton and Royce O’Neale are both capable defenders, especially Claxton, but the well runs dry after that; if only Ben Simmons (back) was available to clog things up against his former team.
The good news is at the other end of the court, where the Nets have Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, and Spencer Dinwiddie putting in solid work. They can’t fully replace the departed Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, but they’re good enough to give Brooklyn fans z reason to believe this team can hold serve at home, and tie this series at 2-2. Bet accordingly.
