Baseball is such a weird sport to bet on as even the crappy teams will win 55-65 games. Sometimes the stats mean nothing at all. But sometimes riding streaks at decent odds is the way to go. That takes us to today`s LAD/ Jays game. Two streaking teams in the opposite directions. I cheer for the Jays as they are my local team. But there is another rule I go by when betting sometimes. Are you ready for a huge betting tip? If it looks like poop. acts like poop and smells like poop,it`s frigging poop!!! And that is the Toronto Blue Jays right now. The Jays have lost 5 straight scoring 2 or less in all 5. The dodgers have won 6 straight. And yet the Jays are -120 today??? Yes the pitching match up favors the Jays but Gausman is very hittable at times. And it seems that all their hitters can do damage. The Dodgers have decent numbers against Gausman. And I still don`t think Gausman is 100% health and mental wise. Michael Grove and his 6 ERA starts for LAD and surely the Jays can hit him right.Well don`t count on it.I`m sure they will get a few. But Grove got torched in his first 4 appearances. His last 5 games he has pitched 7 innings giving up 1 hit while striking out 12.

I think the LAD will be favs by the time this games goes off. This might bite me in the ass but I`m maxing all my plays on this game. Hope fully this long write up will be worth it. And remember. If it looks like poop...............

I should have mentioned that Grove won`t go to long today as he is mainly a reliever. But the LAD bullpen is well rested.

Washington goes for the sweep against Miami today. Corbin is usually crap but he held the LAD to 3 hits and 0 runs in his last start and now faces a terrible hitting team. Miami has scored 3 or less runs in 8 of their last ten.

Washington ML +120


The White Sox go for the sweep today ( what ??? ) against Tampa. I like the pitching match up and the Sox have finally started to hit some. At plus odds they are worth the risk.

I like Cincy with Abbott and his 2.70 era through five starts although his walks are a concern. Texas hasn`t hit well this year and their starter ( Dunning ) always gives up a few and his walks are also a concern.

Last one for today is the late game. Boston`s Tanner Houck has been great this year with a 1.65 era over 5 starts. Hopefully Boston didn`t waste all their runs yesterday.

I`m going to add Minny to my plays. They were good to me yesterday and now have their supposed ace on the mound. They are going for 7 wins in a row, scoring over 5 runs in all of their last 6 games.

Well hope few if any tailed the Dodgers play. Took a big shot and got burned. Gausman pitched great. The Jays still can`t hit. There will be money to be made betting against them especially on the road.
